Hello, I'm brand new to this list. My husband's great grandfather was a professional photographer. While cleaning some things out this weekend, I ran across two photo albums, ones he must have used as samples, full of pictures. The albums are not in good shape, but the pictures are. Unfortunately, none of the people are identified. One album appears to be from the early 1900's and another from the late 1800's. Any of our family photographs have been removed. On the bottom of some of the pictures are notations indicating Battle Creek, Michigan and Hastings, Michigan. Can anyone on the list tell me if a genealogical or historical society (or anyone else) in your county/state may be interested in these? If you know of someone else to whom this message would be of interest, it would be much appreciated if you would pass it along. Thank you very much.
