Mrs. Hoare was born October 7, 1903 in Kalamazoo, daughter of Arthur and Delilah Rivers, and had been a lifelong resident of this area. She is survived by: her husband, LeRoy, one son and one daughter, Mrs. Garrett (Rosalind) Modderman, Kalamazoo, Jarry L. Hoare of Lakeworth, Fla.; seven grandchldren, one great-grandson; her step-mother, Mrs. Elizabeth Rivers of Marshall; seven half-brothers and two half sisters, Carl, Edward, Ernest and Eber Rivers and Mrs. Irene Ansell, all of Marshall. Mrs. Dorothy Bever of North Adams, Daniel, Muryl and Robert Grant of Kalamazoo; several nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held Wednesday at 1 o'clock at the Langeland Chapel, 722 (should be 622) S. Burdick, Rev. Stanley Oudemolen of the Cooper Baptist Church officiating.
