Mrs. Cline was born on the family farm in Orangeville Twp., MI, on August 11, 1910, the daughter of Clinton and Kristie (DeBach) Castle. For several years she taught school at many of the area's rural schools. In 1976 she retired as Claims Manager for Hastings Mutual Insurance, with over 20 years of dedicated service. Mrs. Cline attended Faith United Methodist Church of Delton. She loved flowers and enjoyed needlepoint. For over 25 years, she and her husband wintered in the Orlando, Florida area. She is survived by her husband, Robert A. Cline, whom she married November 24, 1939, in Bryon, Ohio; a brother and sister-in-law, Richard and Clarabelle Cline of Portland, MI; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Mrs. Cline was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, Frederick Castle. The family will receive visitors Friday 5-8 p.m. at the Williams-Gores Funeral Home Delton where Funeral Services will be conducted ! Saturday, October 20, 2001, at 1 p.m., Pastor Daniel Hoffman officiating. Interment Prairieville Cemetery.
