Herbert - 9534 Guernsey Lake Rd., Rte 1, Delton, Formerly of Kalamazoo, age 70, passed away Thursday (Oct 21, 1971) morning at Cowels Nursing Home, Gun Lake, where he had been a patient since April. Mr. Herbert was born June 11, 1901, in Boone County, Ill. He was employed at Barber-Colman, Kalamazoo, for 43 years, retiring in 1966 and since that time had lived on Guernsey Lake Rd. His wife, Maud, preceded him in death in 1970. Surviving are one daughter, Karen Sue, at home; 7 sisters and one brother. Friends are being received by the family from 7 to 9 this evening at the Williams Funeral Home, Delton. Services will be held Monday at Sabien Funeral Home, Belvedere, Ill.
