Heffner - 11975 9 Mile Rd., Orangeville, Mich., age 89, passed away Saturday at the Cunningham Nursing Home in Plainwell, where he had been a patient for the past 3 years. Mr. Heffner was born March 6, 1887, in Hamilton, N.Y., son of James and Jessie Bates Heffner and had lived forthe past 65 years in Orangeville Township. He retired in 1957 from the State Technical Institute, Pine Lake, where he was employed for 12 years. Member of St. Francis Episcopal Church of Orangeville. He was married to Laura Ann Bradshaw, June 18, 1912, in Prairieville, who preceded him in death June 26, 1968. Surviving are 3 daughters, Mrs. Doris Daniels of Seal Beach, Calif., Mrs. Leroy (Hazel) Sibbersen of 10968 Boniface Point Dr., Pine Lake, Mrs. Claude (Frances) Bartholomew of Portage; 3 sons, George of Coloma, Charles of Bay City and Gordon of Orangeville; 24 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildrren; one sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Horan of Casnovia, N.Y. A grandson, Jerold Sibber! sen, passed away June 10, 1976. Friends are being received at the Williams Funeral Home, Delton, until 9 p.m. Tuesday evening. A Requiem Mass will be held Wednesday 10 a.m. at St. Francis Episcopal Church, Orangeville, with Father Kurt Fish officiating. Interment in Oak Hill Cemetery, Orangeville.
