(Stanfield) Safety Harbor, FL Formerly of Delton, MI Passed away March 12, 2005 at Mease Countryside Hospital, Safety Harbor. Cremation has already taken place. She was born September 28, 1928 in Richland, MI, the daughter of Corabel (Markham) and James W. Stanfield. She married Robert E. "Bob" Miller in July 1948. A resident of Wall Lake, Delton for many years, she enjoyed being a wife and mother, which were her greatest accomplishments. She also enjoyed her many crafts, including knitting, crocheting, ceramics and oil painting. Joan always spent her free time crocheting stuffed animals for children at church and hats for newborns at the hospital. She was a member of the North Bay Community Church of Clearwater. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Robert "Bob"; a daughter, JulieAnn (Larry) Goble of Delton, MI; a son, Mark R. of Jena, LA; four grandchildren, Amanda, Joshua, Carla and Ashley; and a sister, Judy Nickerson of Safety Harbor, FL. Graveside Memorial Services will be held Saturday, May 28, 2005 at 1:00 p.m. ! at the Prairie Home Cemetery, M-89, Richland, MI. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to "Repair the Organ Fund" at North Bay Community Church, 3170 McMullen Booth Rd., Clearwater, FL 33761 or a charity of one's choice.
