Lola was a retired employee for the State of Michigan MDOT, member of the Faith Bible Church, Lake Odessa and was the most precious mom, grandma and special friend. She is survived by one son, James C. Prowdley, Jr. (Special friend Jara) of Charlotte; two daughters, Penny (Roger) Higbee of Portland, Rhonda (Don)Gilding of Charlotte; mother, Etta VanLewen of Lake Odessa; two sisters and brother-in-law, Bob and Coleen Iskra-Stuart of Hastings; Evon and Jim Beech of Lansing, six grandchildren, Tommy, Tonya, Charlie, Jamie, Dawn, Troy, and Matt; two great grandchildren, Hunter and Tyler. She was predeceased by her husband of 20 years, James C. Prowdley Sr. in 1989. Funeral services were held Wednesday, March 14, 11 a.m. at the Faith Bible Church, Lake Odessa. Rev. Shane Lewis officiated. Interment followed at the Oakwood Cemetery, Grand Ledge. F! or those desiring, contributions made to the Faith Bible Church would be greatly appreciated.
