Green, age 67, of Hastings, died Sunday, May 8, 2005 at Spectrum Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids. She was born October 24, 1937 in Lima, Ohio, the daughter of Benjamin H. and Mildred E. (Martin) Sullivan. Susanne attended Lima public schools and graduated from Central High School in 1955. She was an airline attendant with Capital Airlines and Lake Central Airlines from 1956-1959. She moved to Hastings in 1969. She has worked at Hastings City Bank, Hastings; E. W. Bliss Co., Czinder Century 21 and Dr. Wiseman Podiatrist. Susanne was a member of the Hope United Methodist Church, and was active in many ministries of the church from 1980 to 1990. She loved doing for her children and grandchildren. She will be sadly missed by her husband of 35 years, Jack Green; children Jim (Cindy) Hoffman of Westerville, Ohio; Carrie (David) Dakin of Richland Township and Blake (Stephanie) Green of Hastings; seven grandchildren: Kristin, Alex, Chase, Chad, Jack Henry, Ca! ssandra and Zachary; one sister, Sandy (Pete) Krystiniak of Hastings. Memorials can be made to the Leukemia - Lymphoma Foundation or Sonshine Pre-School at the Hope United Methodist Church. Funeral services were held on Wednesday, May 11, 2005 at the Hastings Hope United Methodist Church, Rev. Richard D. Moore and Rev. Kenneth R. Vaught officiating. Burial was at Lakeview Cemetery in Nashville. Arrangements were by the Girrbach Funeral Home in Hastings. (The Hastings "Reminder" - Tuesday, May 17, 2005) Transcriber has no family connection.
