Saw your post and you are helping me and I will go a few steps further to give and to seek some more info. Michigan Census, Barry County, North Irving Twsp for 1870 substantiates these brothers. My grandmother spoke of a Nora and according to census she is listed as Honora. I would like to locate more info. regarding their children, especially William who married Mary Engle. Can not find out his death, or place-----their son, Paul who died young. In Chicago or Hastings? Michael was 43 in 1870 census, Honora 34. Both born in Ireland. Children were born in Michigan--Elvira (Elizabeth) 15,Mary 13,Kattie (Katine) 11, Thomas E., 9, Maggie 7, Michael 5, William 3, rank 1 James Kelley (Kelly) 46, Mary 39. Both parents born in Ireland. Children all born in Michigan-- Michael 17, Margaret 14, George 13,Jennie 11, Frank 8, James 6, Jeremiah 4 I attended high school senior year with Hugh and Bob Kelly.
