Does anyone know of this person: John Shafe found in:Census Microfilm Records: Michigan, 1900 Lived in: Assyria Township, Barry County, Michigan Series: T623 Microfilm: 700 Book: 2 Page: 73 I did find this, lines 1 & 2, household 231/family 236John b. Dec 1839 age 60 in Germany as were his parents. He has been married to Levina for only 7 years She was born November 1843 NY as were her parents She has 3 of her 4 children living, but non with her in the census. Albert Barnes died in 1892 and is buried at Lakeview Cemetery in Barry Co., as is Levina Barnes who died 3-7-1921 according to my records. Shafe, Lovina, d. 3/7/1921, age: 79yrs also at Lakeview Cemetery. Berry Co. Lovina Shafe's info matches with Levina Matterson Barnes As Levina Matterson she was married to Albert Barnes 11 Feb 1860 She had had 4 sons with Albert Manning who died before 1900 Jeremiah who was in Denver in 1900 Theodore and George who I am still looking for but have info that leads me to believe she wasn't living with them.
