Mrs. Durkee was born March 19, 1900, in Barry County, the daughter of John and Lydia Kellogg Willison and had resided all of her life in the Delton area. She attended the Delton United Methodist Church and was a member of the Delton Inland Garden Club. She was married to Ray Durkee, Dec 8, 1923, in Delton, who survives. Also surviving are 2 daughters, Mrs. Eugene (Irene) Garrett of Kalamazoo and Mrs. Harold (Gladys) Havens of Schoolcraft; one son, Charles John of Tucson, Ariz.; 7 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers, Jason and Elmer Willison of Delton; 6 sisters, Mrs. Stewart (Viola) Waters, Mrs. Clarence (Ina) Payne, Mrs. Gordie (Vina) Durkee, all of Delton. Mrs. Charles (Eva) Beck of Galesburg, Mrs. Albert (Mary) Hartman of Three Rivers and Mrs. Claude (Jennie) Harrington of Hastings; many! nieces and nephews. Two brothers, Walter and Ed, preceded her in death. Friends will be received after 12 noon Tuesday at the Williams Funeral Home, Delton, where services will be held Wednesday at 2 o’clock, Rev.
