Newspapers.....they also have the 1870 census on-line (and your Thomas and Polly are also located there..BarryTwp. Barry Co.Mi. Obituaries weren't as popular back then as they are now...but if you're lucky there might be one......I am not related to this family...but you might even check with the Library itself...they may do a look-up. If not on one of my not so frequent trips south 100 miles, I'll try to remember to check on it for you. Sandy
