She was born on May 5, 1937 in Kalamazoo the daughter of Edward L. and Gladys I. (Ruse) Stacey. Darlene graduated from high school in Kalamazoo and lived there until moving to Delton in 1968. On January 22, 1955 she married Carl M. Wyman. Primarily a homemaker, Darlene worked at home raising her family, and also worked at Meijer's for eleven years. She enjoyed shopping and listening to country music, and she especially enjoyed her family. Her husband Carl preceded her in death on January 9, 1998. Surviving are sons, Mark Wyman and Stacey (Daphne) Wyman of Delton, Dan (Nancy) Wyman and Mike (Carol) Wyman of Kalamazoo; daughters, Patty (Kirk) Dewey of Hickory Corners and Jody (Scott) Dolfman of Richland; and eleven grandchildren. Also surviving are brothers, Eddie, Ronnie, David, Kenny and Tommy; and sisters Barb, Nancy, Beverly and Peggy. Friends may call after 6:00pm Friday at FARLEY-ESTES & DOWDLE AUGUSTA CHAPEL, 307 North Webster St. where the family will receive friends from 6-8pm. Services will be held at the funeral home 11:00am Saturday with Rev. Mark W. Jennings officiating. Interment will follow at Hickory Corners Cemetery.
