Price Passes Away Nashville resisents were saddened Monday morning to learn of the death of Mrs. Ellen Elizabeth Price, which occured at her home on State street. Mrs. Price had been in poor health since last fall, when a stroke of apoplexy left her an invalid. Funeral services were held at the Baptist church Wednesday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock conducted by Rev. Longfield, and the remains were laid to rest in a crypt at the Lakeview mausoleum. Mrs. Price, who was seventy-one years of age, had been a resident of Nashville and vicinity practically all her life, and had a host of friends who will sincerely mourn her demise. for years past she had been a valued contributor to the colums of The News, and it is with keenest regret that we chronicle her passing.
