Millard Cook - Rte 1, Delton, age 62, passed away suddenly at his home Friday (17 Dec 1971) evening. Mr. Cook was born June 1, 1909 in Orangeville Twp., son of Fred and Cora Armstrong Cook and had lived all of his life in Orangeville Twp. and did carpenter work in Delton and Prairieville areas for many years. He was married to Marian Beattie, January 4, 1936 in Hastings and she survives. Surviving besides his wife Marian is one son, Gerald Lee Cook, Rte 1, Delton; five grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Ronald (Sarah) Anders also of Rte 1, Delton; four brothers, Ralph, Walter and Burl all of Delton and Donald of Dowling. Friends are being received after 7 o'clockthis evening at the Williams Funeral Home, Delton, where services will be held Monday at 3 p.m. with the Rev. Isaac Osgood officiating.
