Dimond - Crooked Lake, Delton, Formerly of Richland, passed away suddenly early Thursday (12 Aug 1971) morning at his home. Mr. Dimond was born Oct. 6, 1899, in Barry Co., the son of Delbert and Nancy Erway Dimond and had lived at Crooked Lake for the past 4 years. He had farmed and was employed for a few years at Michigan State Hatchery, Hasting, retiring from the Richland Bowling Lanes. On Oct. 23, 1927, he was married to May Dunham, who survives. Also surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Frederick (Kathleen) Thomp-son of Jackson; one son, Leon of Delton; 4 grand-children; one great-grandchild; 3 sisters and one brother, Josephine Reed of Hastings, Anna Tuinstak of Rockford, Mich., Lila Kress of Grand Rapids and Percy Dimond of Hastings; several nieces and nephews. Friends are being received at the Will-iams Funeral Home, Delton, where services will be held Sat-urday at 2 o’clock, Rev. Earl Champlin officiating. Inter-ment in Prairieville Cemete! ry.
