He was born July 12, 1972, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Guthrie. He is survived by his parents, two brothers, Thomas and George, one sister, Mary, all at home, his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. George Goretzka Jr., and Mrs. Antha Guthrie, all of Delton, great grandparents Mrs. Ernest Guthrie, Mrs. Nola Stockton, both of Albany, Ky.., Mrs. Ross Corsiglia, Mrs. Katherine Anderson and Mr. and Mrs. George Goretzka Sr.all of Kalamazoo, and many aunts and uncles. Funeral services will be held Monday at 1 p.m. at the St. Ambrose Catholic Church in Delton. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Cancer Society. Funeral arrangements are being handled by the Williams Funeral Home in Delton. Addt: Delton Boy, 3 Dies after Fall from Truck, Delton, A three year old Delton youth died at Borgess Hospital Friday night after he was run over by a vehilce earlier in the day.! James M. Guthrie, son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Guthrie of Delton, was a passenger in a pickup truck driven by Jeffrey A. Conklin, 18, of Hickory Corners, when the accident occurred around 4:30 p.m. Friday on Burroughs Road. According to Barry Township Police, the boy was leaning out of the truck's passenger window when he apparently tripped the door latch, causing him to fall out. Police said it was unclear whether Guthrie was runover by the truck of a hay wagon that was being hauled. Conklin was not held, police indicated. Services have been set for Monday at 1 p.m. at St. Ambrose Catholic Church in Delton.
