    3. Hey Folks, Our Rootsweb mailing lists are set up to receive any postings made to the Ancestry's County boards. (ex: Barry County mailing list recieves all postings from the Ancestry Barry County board) The person posting the obits probably isn't on the Barry County mailing list so he/she doesn't know that we are receiving all these postings. Obviously, some of you don't like recieving all these postings but on the bright side, this person is doing a wonderful service by postings these obits to the boards. The only thing I can suggest for those of you who are unhappy with the multiple postings is that you use the delete button without opening each posting. Most mail programs allow you to check off multiple messages and then simply hit the delete button. And, if anyone has obits for ancestors of Barry County, I would like to suggest that you visit the Ancestry's Barry County board and post your obits or send them to me for posting in the Barry County archives. Obits are a valuable source of genealogical information and someone somewhere may be looking for your family. Thanks for your patience and good luck with your research.
