By birth Mrs. LEWIS was a New Yorker, and from the Empire State came to this county upwards of 50 years ago, hence she leaves many acquaintances and relatives to mourn her demise. Grandma LEWIS, as she was usually addressed by nearly every one, has been gradually failing for a long time, and her lingering stay with her many descendants was simply due to the wearing out of a strong constitution that very few people of today possess. The funeral was held at her late home Monday at 2 o'clock and very largely attended. Rev. Blinkinstaff of Hastings officiated and the burial took place in the Sponable cemetery.
