    2. Can't seem to get into Message Board to post?? so will try this route RE: Dora Fisher Barber Honeysett?? she is buried in the Cressey Cemetery, Barry County, (Isadora, daughter of W. & L. P. Fisher, )believe this to be Warren and Louisa P.-- Dora, b. Feb. 23, 1870 d. Dec. 8, 1920. According to the obit of Grace Fisher, daughter of Lucinda & Byron, she (Dora) was a cousin of Grace's from Battle Creek, surname Barber, I think probably she was married to David Barber as in Phillip Barber's obit, (senior Phillip) one of Phillips sons was David from Cascade, which is Battle Creek area. I also have a copy of a letter to Mrs. Dora Barber, Richland, Michigan, May 8, 1900, from her cousin "Grace". Later Dora Fisher Barber married Ernest H. Honeysett, and was his first wife. Also Jennie Fisher, dau. of Bryron and Lucinda Fisher (they are also in Cressey Cemetary) married Charles Honeysett and he was brother to Ernest Honeysett. I hail from the Honeysett side .RE: ------Jodie Doster's books, the Barry Cty one shows 2 Barber listings, 26 Fisher listings, and 27 Slater listings and as she also published the ENTIRE Doster genealogy she has 348 listings for DOSTERS.. She wrote a Kalamazoo County Pioneer book also and it has 19 Fisher listings, 32 Barber listings, 1 Slater listing, and 61 Doster listings. When I say "listings", there are really MORE as the count represents first name listings and maybe are referenced on more than one page. Pat

I do not know however if the Fishers are mentioned in there or not ( as I did not see that surname listed) but do know my two main Cressey/Prairieville Barry Co, MI familes of the surnames SLATER and BARBER familes are. I can pass her address along if your interested-let me know privately. Thanks again for keeping me up to date. Marianne

And would they be the ones at the Woodlands Cemetery in Barry County. My Jessie was living back home with parents on the 1920 Barry Co. census. Ex re-married a widow between 1920 and 1930 census. One child, Helen, was raised by her father. The elder, Burdett James WILLSON was with his grandmother Amy on the 1920 census, back with father and stepmother on the 1930. Jessie would have remarried between 1920-1930. Yes, I have more info.

Claude A WILLSON and Jessie M BRIGGS had been married since 26 Dec 1905 and have at least one child, Burdett WILLSON born about 1914. The 1920 census has an interesting picture. Jessie WILSON is enumerated single, back living with her father Burdette Briggs. There is a WILSON grandchild to Burdette, little Helen born about 1919. Claude now is rooming at widow Pearl B. STANTON's place, I think Hastings City. The enumerator marked him as widowed. (Pssst - on the 1930 census Claude and Pearl are married, and she's buried with him at Yankee Springs Cemetery) Little Burdett WILSON is living with grandparents James and Amy TURNER YOUNG. (Amy TURNER married 1st Claude's father Ezra WILLSON, remarried after his death) Burdett will be back with his father and stepmother on the 1930 census. I do have more info than shown. What became of Jessie BRIGGS WILLSON and little Helen WILSON? What was widow Pearl STANTON's surname, whose widow was she?
