I've been aware of this fact for years (or so that's what I was told all of my life!)! And the story goes that my grandmother was born there and she was put in an orphanage soon after she was born, but when her new parents adopted her, they had no birth records for her because of this fire. So all of her life, she never knew the exact date of her birth. She thought that it was in November, so she chose the 5th and the 15th. When my daughter was born on the 15 of November, she then chose that as her main birthdate. :D
