I've got an email from a gentleman who says there used to be a text file out there with Alpena County obits through 1990, and the file was named something like nec_A_~1.txt His computer crashed and he no longer has the file and can't find the link to replace it. I can't find anything, but thought I'd put a call out and see if anyone had scurried away the link. Thanks! The North East Michigan Genalogical Society's (NEMGS) site has an index of deaths that were listed in Alpena Newspapers. Maybe that is the file he is thinking about. It is quite extensive. jen
