Everett Daily Herald 3/2/1922 Alfonso Leavitt died Wednesday at his home 2131 Cedar, following a few weeks illness. Mr. Leavitt has been a resident of Everett for the past nine years. He was a member of the G.A.R. and the I.O.O.F. at his old home in Alpena, MI. Surviving him are his wife Mrs. Clara E. Leavitt, one daughter, Mrs. R. E. Dunford of 2131 Cedar, one son, Ernest W. Leavitt of Alpena, MI, who was at the bed side of his father during his last illness; a brother and sister in the state of Maine, and a brother in Alpena, MI. Funeral services will be at the chapel of Challacombe & Fickel, Friday afternoon at 3:30 o’clock. The local order of Odd Fellows will have charge of the service both at the chapel and grave.
