He emigrated from Canada in 1887, she was born in Michigan of English parents. I'm looking for her maiden name. They had one child, Lulu, abt. 1899. In 1920 and 30 they lived in Detroit. My greatgrandfather John McConnel(l) emigrated with his family to Long Rapids area at the same time. The surname was spelled McConnel in 1900 but later with two l's.
