Dames was born in Quebec, he left and he married three times. From what I have been told, it was either his second or third marriage that he had twins (Franklin and Emmanuel). He some how gave the two boys up for adoption for an unknown reason. They were apopted by the Diemond family in Alpena,MI. I did meet one of Franklin's sons in the early 1980, his name was Dennis Diemond, he played an instrument in a Symphony, he was I think in his mid to early 40's at that time Dames's last name was Seguin.
