They have an EXCELLENT Michigan room, where there is tons of local information on past residences. The one thing I valued most was the collection of almost ancient City Directories they have in a separate room. You have to get permission to look through them, but if you can get to look thru them, you'll find tons of information about your past relatives there. They also have much information about cemeteries, obituaries, etc. there. And they are very helpful, especially Marlo Broad. She only works part time, but knows where most of the things are. When you need help there, just ask. They are really great. They have many older newspapers on microfilm and will show you how to operate the machines there. Check out the genealogy room also, just off the Michigan room.
