    3. BREZNAU, Hubert Becker, 81, of Oscoda died on April 26, 2005, in Tawas City. He is survived by his wife, Marian; and their eight children, Victoria Yadlosky of Clinton Twp., Sharon Czapiewski of Dearborn, Robert Breznau of Colorado Springs, Colo., Kenneth Breznau of Fullerton, Calif., Kathleen Kerzka of Byron, Karen Roesler of Fenton, Mary Ann Vaughn of Oscoda and John Breznau of Fountain Valley, Calif.; 14 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and two brothers, Donald Breznau of Flushing and John �Jack� Breznau of Caseville. Cremation took place and a memorial mass was held at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church on Friday, April 29, 2005. Arrangements by Buresh-Bennett Funeral Homes, Inc. of Oscoda. FABIAN, Elizabeth, 68, died April 26, 2005, at her home in Toledo, Ohio, after battling cancer for several months. She is survived by her husband, Alexander; and three children, Alexander, John (Hsichi) and Diane; one grandchild, Ryan; two sisters, Florence Rude and Marie Bowers; three brothers, Christian (Carol) Rude, Carl Rude and Clarence Rude; a sister-in-law, Loretta Rude; and numerous nieces and nephews. The funeral took place April 29, 2005, in Toledo, Ohio, with Rev. Joseph Vamos officiating. Burial was at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park GAPCZYNSKI, Gerald A., age 74 of 392 South Sixth Street in Rogers City, died Saturday, April 30, 2005, at his home. He is survived by his wife, Marolen; two daughters, Deborah (Steven) Kulik of Washington and Diane (Reid) Scott of Rogers City; grandchildren, Jeremy, Jennifer, Jessica, Andy and Amber; a brother, Art (Edith) Gapczynski of Rogers City; two sisters, Gertrude (Ernest) Kortman of Rogers City and Evelyn (Gerald) Talaske of Posen; a sister-in-law, Betty Gapczynski of Rogers City; and several nieces and nephews. The Bill Brietzke Funeral Home is in care of cremation arrangements, and friends may call after 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Ignatius Church where Rev. Charles Donajkowski will officiate at the memorial mass at 11 a.m. A luncheon will follow at St. Ignatius School Gymnasium and interment will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery at a later date. KANE, Jane, 90, of Sault Ste. Marie died April 30, 2005, at Chippewa County War Memorial Hospital. She is survived by her son, Steve (Anna) of Traverse City; daughters, Nancy (Charlie) Iknayan of Bessemer, Susan (Joseph) Randazzo of Traverse City, Jan (Chuck) Herring of Alpena and Karen (Henry) Pietkiewicz of Charleston, S.C.; 17 grandchildren, including Brandy Norton of Alpena; eight great-grandchildren; sisters, Carol (Fred) Kneisler of Beverly Hills, Helen (Larry) Stuart of Niles; brothers, Charles (Betty) Elliot of Conneaut, Ohio, and John (Betty) Elliott of Birmingham. Several nieces and nephews also survive. A memorial mass will take place at 11 a.m. Thursday, May 5, at St. Joseph�s Catholic Church in Sault Ste. Marie, followed by a luncheon in the church hall. Family and friends are invited to gather at 10 a.m. in the hall. Interment will take place following the luncheon at Oaklawn Chapel Gardens PIECHAN, Kenneth A., died on Thursday, April 28, 2005. He is survived by three daughters, Beverly (Gerald) Macks of Alpena, Kay (Leonard) Wekwert of Posen and Molly (Donald) Hartman of Rogers City; one brother, Lloyd (Elmira) Piechan of Rogers City; grandchildren, Peggy (Kent) Karsten of Gaylord, Laura (Jerry) Purgiel of Rogers City, John and Robert (Kathy) Wekwert of Posen, Lisa (Gary) Kaul of Waterford, Jennifer (Ken) McInerny of Lincoln, Bruce Macks and Leighann (Mike) Mill of Alpena, Amy (Dave) Lafferty of Rogers City, Kenneth (Julie) of Saline, David (Jennifer) of Rogers City, and Aaron (Piper) Santini of Waterloo, Iowa; 16 great-grandchildren; and four step-great-grandchildren. A memorial gathering will be held at the Beck Funeral Home in Rogers City on Saturday, May 7, at 4 p.m. with the VFW honoring military service. SENFF, Edward J., 68, of Rogers City died Sunday, May 1, 2005, at home. He is survived by his wife, Evelyn; four children, Kim (Rick) Greenberg of Indiana, Ken (Julie) of Rogers City, Kristi Senff of Kenton, and Karl (Amy) of Indiana; six grandchildren, Nathan, Stephan, Nicholas, Jodi, Justin and Gary; one great-granddaughter, Alexandra; his mother, Helga Ylen of Ontonagon; four step-grandchildren; and three step-great-grandchildren. The children of William Cousins and Anne Jane Hamilton were: Edmund (c1860- ) Margaret (c1862- ) Adelaide (c1865- ) who married George L. White Eliza (c1865- ) James Albert (1867-1887) Emma K. (c1868- ) who married William G. Crawford Anna (1869- ) Georgie May (1873- ) Albertie M. (c1874- ) Maud Alice (1876- ) The family lived in the area of Hawkesbury, Prescott County, Ontario. About 1868 they moved to Alpena County, Michigan. They appear in the Alpena County census in 1870, 1880, and 1900, as well as in Alpena City Directories. I am related to Anne Jane Cousins through her parents Samuel Hamilton and Margaret Armstrong. I am seeking more information about the family. Thanks.

My grandfather Emile Morrissette was born in Montreal in 1904 (maybe 1905 or 1906). He was one of 14 and all but one were boys. I think the one girl was Evone. Emile was the youngest boy. He left Montreal and moved to New York at 16. He married Rose La Liberte and had one daughter, Claire (my mother). This ringing any bells for anyone?
