Dames was born in Quebec, he left and he married three times. From what I have been told, it was either his second or third marriage that he had twins (Franklin and Emmanuel). He some how gave the two boys up for adoption for an unknown reason. They were apopted by the Diemond family in Alpena,MI. I did meet one of Franklin's sons in the early 1980, his name was Dennis Diemond, he played an instrument in a Symphony, he was I think in his mid to early 40's at that time Dames's last name was Seguin. If you need more info, let me know.

Hi. Hoping someone can help. I am trying to locate my great great grandmother's grave. She was born Sarah Jane McGregor on May 3, 1853 in Canada. She died July 14, 1912 some where in Alpena, Michigan. According to the 1910 census, she lived in Alpena City (Port of), Ward 3 on McKinley Ave with husband Alex McDonald and family. In past records I have seen the last name spelled McDonald as well as MacDonald. Any help would be appreciated! Donna
