Sue, I would try the Genesee County Clerk's Office website . It has a searchable database of deaths and marriages. Although the marriages begin in 1930, perhaps you can find a death record. _Genesee County Clerk Public Web Access_ (http://www.co.genesee.mi.us/vitalrec/) or _http://www.co.genesee.mi.us/vitalrec/_ (http://www.co.genesee.mi.us/vitalrec/) . Also, you might check the LDS Library Catalog at: _www.familysearch.com_ (http://www.familysearch.com) to see if they have filmed the Genesee County marriage records. If they have, you can order the films for a month from your nearest LDS Family History Center at a nominal fee. (I pay only $3.25). You have to use it at the Family History Center. Good luck, Mary Sue
