Just returned from the Family History Center in East Lansing. I checked the death index for Mecosta county 1867-1941 - no Mindel anywhere. Surrounding counties are Lake, Osceola, Clare, Isabella, Montcalm, Kent , and Newaygo, Gratiot. I did not check those but if you can narrow it down I will. Pat
