I want to jump in here. I just got my old slides from my brother and some of them have mold on them. Some where taken by my father in the early 50's when we lived in France. I had left them with my brother while I was overseas to avoid the mold damage in Germany and then his basement flooded during Hugo and I just now go around to getting them. I have a scanner that scans slides and I am eager to transfer them to an CD. My previous computer just gave up and wouldn't boot so I JUST NOW BOUGHT A NEW ONE! Donations will not be rejected (just kidding). > [Original Message] > From: <ToniMarieFLA@aol.com> > To: <MI-GENEALOGY-L@rootsweb.com> > Date: 8/28/2004 2:57:28 PM > Subject: Re: [MI-Genealogy] Old Negs - how to clean and get prints > > > > > > I'm not sure, but you might ask your local copy center.
