    1. Surnames of my Dutch ancestors

    3. Thank you for all the responses concerning major Dutch cities in Michigan. The majority of my "Dutchies" came from Friesland, NL and lived in and around various towns and villages in Worcester County, Mass. But a few left the state afterwards and I'm still trying to track them down. Their surnames were: Frieswyk (Vrieswijk in Dutch), VanderBaan, Jorritsma, Bakker, Zylstra (Zijlstra in Dutch), DeBoer, Adema, Visser an etc. Alot of my 2nd cousins went to Calvin College, but they are back at home in Mass.
