I'm hoping you can answer about the Burns family of Cass County. Marvin Leroy Burns married Rosemary Beatrice Tunks around 1940's to 1950. Marvin's father was Frank Burns, and his mother was Edna Brouse (I think). His brother, still living, is Robert Burns. They had an ancestor named Joseph Burns, but I have no details on him. Is there any info you can provide? My reason for inquiring is for my neices, Laura and Dani Giles. Laura was 18 mo old when Marvin died, and Dani did not get to meet him. Rosemary, their grandmother, became a second mother to the girls when their mother, Rose Ann (Burns) Giles died in 1993. RoseAnn died a year after my husband, their uncle, James M Burns died(1992).
