    3. Pamela, I checked all census thru AncestryPlus. It's the only one I found him on. Unless there's other info that might tip me off to him. Did he stay in Michigan or did he by chance move? Here's a close preliminary match in 1910: Name: Nelson Dyer Age in 1910: 53 Estimated Birth Year: 1856 Birthplace: Maine Home in 1910: 3-WD MARINETTE, MARINETTE, Wisconsin Race: White Gender: Male Series: T624 Roll: 1717 Part: 1 Page: 86B Year: 1910 I'm sorry I can't go thru the browse and search for him. Boy, I can't wait until the 1910 & 1900 in Michigan are indexed!! Going backwards in the 1860 census I found in the same household: Levi Dyer Palermo, Waldo, ME 55 1804 Maine Male Susan Dyer Palermo, Waldo, ME 42 1817 Maine Female Nelson Dyer Palermo, Waldo, ME 29 1830 Maine Male Amanda Cooper Palermo, Waldo, ME 24 1835 Maine Female Theodore Cooper Palermo, Waldo, ME 4 1855 Maine Male Joseph Cooper Palermo, Waldo, ME 1 1858 Maine Male Name: Nelson Dyer Age in 1860: 29 Birthplace: Maine Home in 1860: Palermo, Waldo, Maine Gender: Male Value of real estate: View image Post Office: East Palermo Roll: M653_453 Page: 0 Year: 1860 Head of Household: Joseph Cooper Then I remembered in the 1880 census, the next family listed after your Nelson and Kittie DYER was an Anthony and Alice COOPER household. They could be related. Hope this helps. I need to find him and his family before 1879 when he married up in Alpena. I can't seem to locate any of the Dwyer/Dyer family before this.
