Patiann…and others who may be interested in the "Park Family of Michigan" What I have learned “for sure” in my years of delving into family history and genealogy records is that nothing can be taken “for sure”. One distant cousin did a fabulous job tracing his name back to way before the Revolution, getting documented proof of every thing…he even went so far as to publish a book…over an inch thick…on his ancestors. He then decided to get involved in a DNA testing program which of course followed the male lineage. Results of the tests proved there was a “break” in his bloodline. He hadn’t expected that. Did great grandma do something rash when great grandpa wasn’t looking? Or, do I dare suggest…his mother? Or was there simply an adoption that no one recalls? That’s the reason, in all my writings, I always start off with… “It appears that George was born……” John
