Hi Dave, I'm sorry for the delay, but I noticed no one has yet responded to your request. I don't believe I've found anything you don't already have, but I'll show you where I looked: 1900 US Census - taken JN01 - 3621 Broadway (frt), St Louis Ward 2 (St Louis Cnty) MO Ln Name Age Birth Self Father Mother Status Occupation 52 Humble, William H 37 NO1863 IN IN IN m:12yrs Cable Gripman 53 "Elisebath" 29 MR1871 MO MO MO m:12yrs ??/4 54 William 11 AU1888 MO IN MO s 55 Hattie 8 DE1891 MO IN MO s 56 Josephine 6 NO1893 MO IN MO s 57 "Phaeber" 1 SE1898 MO IN MO s 1910 US Census - taken AP25 - 1406 north 13th Street (rr), St Louis Ward 4 (St Louis Cnty) MO 1 Humble, Lizzie 39 ? 5/4 (=children/living) 2 Hattie 18 s Shoe Worker-Shoe Factory 3 Josephine 16 s Shoe Worker-Shoe Factory 4 Phoebe 11 s 1920 US Census - taken JA13 - 2114 13th Street (rr), St Louis Ward 3 (St Louis Cnty) MO 21 Humble, Lizzie 49 wid Wrapper-Bag Co 22 "Phoebbe" 21 s Cook-Box Factory Macomb County (MI) Death Index 1945 to present -- No "Humble", "Harriette" or "Hattie" born in MO Detroit Area (Wayne Cnty, MI) Deaths 1960, 1963, 1974, 1978, 1982 -- No "Humble", "Harriette" or "Hattie" born in MO Without a "married" name, Hattie will be very difficult to trace. On Ancestry.com I visually scanned 300 "Hattie" without finding any born 1891-1892 in MO. I also visually scanned 120 "Harriette" without finding any born 1891-1892 in MO. I suggest going on-line to the St Louis Public Library, seeking her in City Directories for 1910 thru 1920 to get a handle on her marriage date, and then to the St Louis Cnty Clerk for exact marriage info. Then, on to the Social Security Death Index and Michigan Deaths Listing at Ancestry.com Good Luck! --Ray Reske ----- Original Message ----- From: "Dave Gruzeski" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Tuesday, November 06, 2007 2:07 PM Subject: [MI-GENEALOGY] HUMBLE (maiden name) > Hi,,, I am trying to locate my mother's aunt who lived in the Detroit > Area, > but unfortunately, I don't have a lot of information about her.
