    3. Unless someone had it written in a bible or you can obtain a baptism or christening record, the closest you can probably get might be to locate him with his parents in the 1860 census. State of Michigan didn't start keeping birth records till 1867. Some, please correct me if I'm wrong. There might be a mention in a local newspaper, if someone has put that on microfilm.
