    1. Oops. Wrong Heading...Should Have Been Cemetery Question Heading...
    2. Pat, Sorry for the error there. My question about the Cemetery in Gratiot should have been under another heading: Pat, Can you tell me exactly where the oldest documents for St. Patrick's Cemetery are located and who maintains them? I'm searching for the grave of my great-great-grandfather Robert Shannon who died April 7, 1892. His death was recorded on May 11, 1892 in the Gratiot County Book "A"; Page 211 record 26. I'm pretty sure he was buried next to his granddaughter Maria Eleanor Shannon Pinkerton's grave with her headstone giving 1899 as her death date. It took me quite awhile to find records for a couple of cemeteries in Saginaw County but the sexton had the original layouts so I'm hoping the same will be found in Gratiot. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Sincerely, Kevin O'Brien Laguna Hills, CA Researching: Jefferson County: Dorchester, Perkins, Van Schaick, Truax Saginaw County, MI: (Hemlock-Richland Township) Perkins, (Jonesfield Township-Merrill) Warner, Gauley, Shannon, (Gratiot County) Pinkerton, Gillie, Genesee County, MI: (Flushing Township)Warner, Sundell Ipswich, MA: Perkins' Argentiul County, Quebec, Canada: Lowe, Shannon, Gillie, Ivall, DeRiviere, Boyd, Stapleton.
