Peggy, Thank you for taking the time to clarify the issues at hand. I am in full agreement with your stand on the defined problem. I am very vigilant to make sure valuable information is retained to make our history more complete, thusly our genealogy, never becomes "obsolete" and will always be believed to be worthy to be preserved. This is the problem I have had for over 15 years of actively searching for information on my father and my paternal grandfather. My father was born August 11, 1917 in the Providence Hospital in Detroit. My maternal grandmother was Hilja Maria Niemi(nen) and my grandfather is listed as Ivar/Ivori/Ivor Niemi. Both came from Finland. I can not even find my father's birth information. He gave me his birth certificate just before he died so I feel blessed. I have been able to find my paternal Finnish family in Jämsä, Finland though nothing on when and how she got to USA. I have no information on my paternal grandfather. This is why I will fight to keep all information open to all. I know there is information for me though I just haven't asked it to the right person, to the right list or at the right time. We, as personal historians, have to be bigger than that. Thank you, Dorothea **************An Excellent Credit Score is 750. See Yours in Just 2 Easy Steps!
