Cynthia, Battle Creek Township had two Cities in it. Springfield consolidated in 1953 and Battle Creek (1833). The city of Battle Creek and the township merged in the 1970's partly due to the company of Kellogg. The City of Battle Creek has the cemetery records of the small cemeteries. It dose not have the records of Oakhill or of Memorial Park. the Reese cemetery records are at Springfield City Hall.
