How do you expect to get an answer that can help you if you only accept attachments from people you know? Most of us are soooo busy doing our own search it's tooooo time consuming to print out everything we find that can help someone, that's why attachments are sent. I feel blessed when someone sends me an attachment, because its most often a census report and it helped me a great deal. You should have a VIRUS protection software on your computer, then you would be pretty much safe. I use Norton Internet Security and I have never been down with a virus. I've been doing genealogy on the Internet since Rootsweb first started, many years ago. If it wasn't for them I wouldn't know half of what I have compiled so far. Thanks Everyone. I couldn't have done it without you. In a way I feel like were all part of the same family. I would hate to think that we would knowingly jeopardize someone's computer by sending unchecked files.
