    2. Someone please help me..I am searching for info on a Louis St. John in Mi during the early and mid 1950's... I am told he worked on the train tracks in Michigan...I believe this to be in the areas of Detroit and the smaller surrounding areas...I am told he also used the name Joseph Darling and lived in Chicago and also Raymond St. John. I would appreciate ANY help that could help me with Railroad companies in that area and police reports as I heard he had been shot at least 3 times.  This is a rather long story and if anyone has any info I would be glad to share it with you..This also may include the name Rightler in that area. Thanks, for any help anyone can give me. I am from NC and it is hard to get info in that are. ==== MI-GENEALOGY Mailing List ==== The MIGenWeb FGS Project. http://www.rootsweb.com/~migenweb/fgs/ Join in this special project!  Add your Family Group Sheets and browse for connections. ==============================

    3. I was searching through the 1900 Census for Michigan, Mason Co. and I think I seen a Joseph Darling the other day. Not for sure, but seems like it was that name. I was sorting through the 1900 page by page. Maybe check that out. Ludington was a huge train hub as we have the Carferries here that took trains back and forth to Wisconsin. 3. I did a search for Darling and couldn't find it again. Must be the spelling is off. I would check the Mason Co. area though, I know there are Darlings here and it was very big with trains up until several years ago.
