Does anyone have knowledge of my grandfather, George Washington Long, born 30 March 1851; we believe in Toronto, Canada. Immigrated to Michigan, USA in 1869. His father, we believe, was also named George, born in England. I am interested in this George's lineage back to England. George Washington Long's mother was named Agnes Armet or possibly Annet, born in Canada. I am interested in any data on her ancestral background, also. George Washington Long and his spouse, Lydia F Parks were married 30 March 1884 in Saginaw, Saginaw Co, MI. Of their six issue, I am particularly interested in what happened to three of their daughters… Margaret Maude, Jennie Agnes, Bertha D and Elizabeth, aka Lizzie.
