Denissen, (page 1091) lists James, Julia, Joseph & Stephen as siblings but only Julia's marriage. 1850 census for Erie shows Stephen Robidou, wife Rosalie and 3 Bonneau children including Isadore age 12 1860 census for Erie shows Joseph Robidou, wife Elizabeth and 6 children. the next family is Isadore Robideau, age 24, wife Victory and 3 children. 1880 census for Erie shows Isadore Robidou, age 42 with Victory & family. I suspect Isadore Bonneau was born to Julia Robidou and then adopted by either her brother Joseph or Stephen.
