Or there may be a connection. That's what I am trying to find out…and you may know. Do you know of a James Mitchell, b. 16 Oct 1920 in Herman Keifer Hosp, Flint, Genesee Co, MI. In 1922 his family, which I have been told was very large, moved to Detroit, Wayne Co, MI…where his father died in 1929 of Cancer. I find no record of this large family in Detroit in the 1930 census…which seems strange to me. James, I am told, married a girl from Boston, MA about 1950 and "had a couple of kids." James had about 12 siblings. James may have d. in Dec 1967. Also, a Harry Augustus Mitchell, b. 13 May 1884 in Reeder Twp, Missaukee Co, MI married my aunt, Margaret Maude Long in circa 1900/02. He d. Nov 1970 in Brooklyn, Jackson Co, MI. I've been told they "lived most there lives" in the Flint area. I am supposed to have a lot of 1st cousins. Would like to find out who they are before I become an ancestor.
