    3. Hi, I am new to the list and hoping someone can help us. My husband's parents were divorced when he was 4 or 5. I am trying to find a divorce record. We don't know the exact year we are pretty sure between 1949 and 1951. All we know is they were suppose to have lived in Marquette County. In fact we understand Paul probably stayed in that area til his death in 1990 or 91. His name was Paul Alfred Bond and hers was Letitia Leora Fisher Bond. Thanks for any help you can give us. Edie

    3. Many Michigan vital records can be ordered on-line and divorce records maybe ordered by anyone. You can also obtain the paper request version to snail mail through the same link http://www.vitalrec.com/mi.html You get a three year window to have searched for the base fee and may add extra years for extra dollars. 3. This doesn't work for me. The online ordering page keeps saying unavailable and the snail mail says widows cannot access the specified device etc... You may not have the appropriate permission to access this item. Thanks. 3. Use vitalrec to get the link for the actual sites where records are located. Instead of clicking on Vitalrec's "mail order" link under divorce records, just click on "Vital Records Requests" above the Michigan Dept of community Health address. That will take you to the website for the Michigan office itself. Then, if the form downloads there don't work for you, at least you can find other contact information to get the records. I've found their turnaround time is quite fast (mostly I've ordered death records). Carolyn At 8:48 PM -0700 9/23/04, Aaron Bond wrote: >This doesn't work for me.
