Thanks to all who suggested Nunica. This appears to be the one I want. I did find a death of a different child of George W. and Margaret Read - Mary M. Read, who died 12 July 1875 in Nunica at the age of 2M 6D, although I can't find her birth (death index says birth in Crockery twp). I can't find Lena in the birth records in 1876, but George and Margaret seem to have been there at least in July 1875. George and Margaret do not show up in the marriages of Ottawa County, but they may have married in Canada. And Margaret Read does not show up in the Ottawa Co. death index. However, I am sure Nunica is what I want, and I'll pursue records there.
