Hello to all, I am trying to find information on the father of Daniel Byron Babcock dob 7 Jun 1839, Bridgewater, Washtenaw, MI. His father's name is listed on several census as Joshua, Johnson and Josiah. I believe that the Joshua is correct because he turns up in Wisconsin later on with his son John W. Babcock and other family members. Joshua is from NY. dob abt. 1804. Married Maria also born in NY abt. 1807. Anyone with info or living in Washtenaw Cty. that could find some record for me would be greatly appreciated. John W. Babcock was born abt 1831 prob. in MI. John married Sarah Wixsom. They had 2 children Alice Jane and Orphie Julia . apparently John W. died in Wisconsin, Sarah and the children moved to Bay City, MI where Sarah remarried. Daniel married Serafina Hunt.
