So far I have not been able to find anything on them. If I have the right Geo. W. Read, he married again in Missouri about 1883-1884 to Nettie Riddlesbarger, so I am looking for a death of Margaret Burd Read sometime after the birth of Lena and before Geo.'s next marriage (1876 - 1883/84). Are the Michigan vitals indexes online? (I can't find these people in these years on ancestry.com) With the nonexistence for the most part of the 1890 census I cannot see if Lena is then living with Geo. and Nettie. I do find Lena already married to William J. Straight in the 1900 census in Hyde Park, Cook Co., Ill. The Straight family immigrated to the US from England in 1881, so they are not in the 1880 US census. Thanks for any ideas of where to look next.
