Faxine It would help to know where you have looked. For example, the censuses for 1900, 1910, 1920, and 1930. Familysearch.org. Ancestry.com. Heritagequest.com. How close are you to Detroit? Can you travel to their library - or to the Library of Michigan, in Lansing, which has bejillions of records? Or the Allen County Library in Fort Wayne, IN, which is the second biggest genealogical library in the United States? Have you Googled "Detroit+genealogy" to see what organizations there are that have Detroit records? Have you Googled "Frank+Faxon"? Have you visited Rootsweb.com and done a name search? I found three entries for Frank Golden Faxon there. When you let us know what resources you have checked - and what you have found - we can give you a lot more help. Happy hunting.
